Zach Clark is a rising star who embodies USF's highest ideals of service, compassion, and mission in action. As founder of the Home More Project, he has supported thousands of unhoused people through innovative housing solutions. Now pursuing graduate studies in urban planning, Zac continues to expand his vision for dignified housing across California. USF had an incredible impact on my life. I was born in Southern California. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and I knew that I wanted to find a university that felt like home, and I fell in love with the university as soon as I came here. Networking is so important, and particularly at a university like USF, you know, my roommate was from Thailand, my best friend was from Vietnam. Um, and those kind of connections across the world are really important, both from a personal standpoint but also career standpoint. And I'll share just a quick story. One of my dorm mates or someone on my floor, uh, works for a upcoming cleaning supply company and he connected me with their CEO and their donating tons of hand sanitizer and soaps, for us to include in our backpacks. And so, you know, these kind of connections stem from coming to a great university like USF. Zac's vision is bold to expand HomeMore into a household name across California, leveraging partnerships and innovation to make dignified housing accessible. His work reflects USF'S mission. Care for those on the margins, bold social justice, and a lifetime of service rooted in empathy. The faculty, the students, everyone felt like family. I love that the university is a, a small, tight-knit school, yet in such a big, innovative city. For leading with heart, for bridging mission to impact, and for living USF values in every step. USF Honors Zac Clark with the Privett Living the Mission Award.
