USF April Action Day of Service: New York City
April is National Volunteer Month, and this year our NYC Day of Service falls on Easter Sunday — a day rooted in renewal, hope, and compassion. As a Jesuit institution, service is at the heart of who we are, making this a meaningful opportunity to live out our call to be women and men for and with others by spending part of the day giving back to our community.
We invite alumni, parents, and friends to join us at Xavier Mission, a nonprofit grounded in Jesuit values of social justice and service. Together, we will volunteer in the Welcome Table soup kitchen, helping prepare and serve hot meals to neighbors facing food insecurity.
Afterwards, we’ll gather for a casual happy hour at a nearby spot to connect, reflect, and celebrate the impact we’ve made together.
Join us in making this Easter one of generosity, solidarity, and community.
The minimum age to volunteer is 14.
