Camila Sanchez-Taugher

Camila Sanchez-Taugher is an Emergency Department nurse and Assistant Professor whose clinical practice and academic work are grounded in a deep commitment to nursing education. With extensive experience in high-acuity emergency care, she brings real-world clinical insight into the classroom, helping bridge the gap between theory and practice for nursing students.

Camila is deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring future nurses, with a particular focus on building confidence, clinical reasoning, and professional identity in students as they transition into practice. She values creating a supportive, engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care.
