Biography

Camila Sanchez-Taugher is an Emergency Department nurse and Assistant Professor whose clinical practice and academic work are grounded in a deep commitment to nursing education. With extensive experience in high-acuity emergency care, she brings real-world clinical insight into the classroom, helping bridge the gap between theory and practice for nursing students.

Camila is deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring future nurses, with a particular focus on building confidence, clinical reasoning, and professional identity in students as they transition into practice. She values creating a supportive, engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care. Through her teaching, Camila strives to empower nursing students to become skilled, thoughtful, and resilient clinicians prepared to meet the demands of modern healthcare.
