Biography
Kelsey Green, DNPc, MPH, RN, is a dedicated public health professional and emergency room nurse with over 8 years of clinical experience in high-pressure environments. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate in Population Health Leadership at the University of San Francisco, her work is focused on advancing health equity and improving maternal-child health outcomes for minority groups.
Kelsey’s expertise is grounded in both direct patient care and community health program development, with specific research and practice interests in matrescence, breastfeeding disparities among minority groups, and the design of culturally grounded programs to support perinatal health. She has successfully developed community-based lactation support initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders and led DEI initiatives to foster inclusive, culturally responsive healthcare systems. Kelsey leverages her extensive clinical and public health experience to educate other healthcare professionals on addressing systemic health disparities and championing systemic change for underserved populations.
