Biography
Kristen Lombard, PhD, RN, PMHCNS-BC, AHN-BC is an Associate Professor at University of San Francisco (USF) in the School of Nursing and Health Professions where she teaches psychiatric-mental health, Quality Improvement, Health Policy/Ethics/Advocacy, and leadership to nursing graduate students in the Master Entry Option.
Dr. Lombard’s 42-year career has been diverse and has taken her from large to small hospital systems, acute & primary care, long term care, residential settings, home and community care, and private practice. In higher education, she has taught in holistic MSN, RN-BSN, BSN, ASN, and certificate programs. She has held leadership roles in higher education, hospital administration, consultation, staff development, and in her own business.
