Biography
Bob Patterson began his nursing career at Sutter Health as a New Graduate, ending after 23 years as the Director of Nursing Informatics and Staffing Services. He was the Administrative Director for HealthImpact, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the capacity of nurses to meet the evolving health needs of Californians, for eight years, as well as the Director for Business Development at Versant® Holdings, LLC, a for-profit corporation whose mission is to fundamentally improve the quality of patient care through developing and sustaining professional nursing organizations.
He has proven skills in communication and relationship management, business skills and principles, knowledge of the healthcare environment, and professionalism. He is active in the Association of California Nurse Leaders, whose mission is to develop nurse leaders, advance professional practice, influence health policy, and to promote quality and patient safety. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors, as an Academic member (2024-2025).
