It All Ties Together
Before enrolling in The Master’s Program, Casey worked as a legal intern, played basketball professionally in Spain, taught and tutored through various educational institutions, and became a partner support manager for the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). As students learn on their first day of class, the University of San Francisco’s Sport Management Master's Program has a way of tying it all together.
Eight months into her graduate studies, the PCA promoted Casey to Program Manager. On a nationwide staff of over 60 people, who combined have worked with over 5 million young athletes, Casey oversees their Double-Goal Coach Awards, Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship program, works with their National Advisory Board and volunteers; all to ensure that youth sports engender strong character education alongside athletic skill. As an added bonus, sometimes professional franchises also get in on the fun, partnering with the PCA for various community efforts.
