Some viewers watch to see which NFL team will be crowned champion, while others eagerly await the commercials. The Super Bowl has become a great platform for organizations to share their message and it takes talented professionals, like USF Sport Management alumna Donna Lupton ‘05, to make this happen.
Donna, who is a Senior Account Manager for IMG Consulting, managed the USAA activation at Super Bowl XLIX, which focused on tangible appreciation for our Armed Forces. USAA hosted their annual Salute To Service SitRep with NFL Talent, which features active duty military and NFL stars discussing topical issues in the NFL while competing for service branch bragging rights and a donation to their MWR Fund. It is filmed and aired on American Forces Network at the lead in to the Super Bowl broadcast.
When the hard work was complete, Donna spent Sunday evening where millions of jealous fans which they could have been--inside of University of Phoenix Stadium watching the big game.
