Strengthening Health Systems
Dr. Taryn Vian, Professor and Master of Public Health Program Director, led along with many reviewers a World Health Organization (WHO) report "Integrating a focus on anti-corruption, transparency, and accountability in health systems assessments." The report provides ideas for WHO Member States on how to prevent corruption through transparency, accountability, and health systems strengthening.
"We need this kind of systems leadership approach, accompanied by bottom-up activism to keep government leaders on track," said Dr. Vian.
