SAN FRANCISCO (January 17, 2019) — The University of San Francisco (USF) School of Education has announced the move of its Santa Rosa programs to a new location - Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC), located at 1501 Mendocino Avenue.
Conveniently headquartered in the SRJC Doyle Library, USF Santa Rosa is equipped with classroom space and modern facilities in a campus atmosphere, parking, technology upgrades and support, access to wireless service and plentiful study space.
USF Santa Rosa provides courses in the Master of Arts in Teaching with Credential and the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. The Santa Rosa location provides a supportive educational environment with classes offered one night each week and occasional Saturdays.
“We are grateful to SRJC for this partnership and for hosting two of our programs on their beautiful campus,” stated USF School of Education Associate Dean Cheryl Jones-Walker. “With this partnership, we believe we will continue to be more integrated in the Santa Rosa community and better able to serve students in the area.”
SRJC President Dr. Frank Chong is pleased to host USF on their Santa Rosa campus. “The proceeds from the rental of our facilities will support extended library hours for our students,” he said. “This partnership is definitely a benefit for both institutions of higher learning.”
