U.S. News & World Report Ranks USF High for Diversity, Value, and Social Mobility
In the U.S. News & World Report 2024 undergraduate rankings, USF moved up in five categories and remains a top university.
In the 2024 report, the University of San Francisco ranked:
- No. 115 among national universities — in the top 30 percent
- No. 1 for ethnic diversity, a rise of one spot
- No. 70 for social mobility, in the top 20 percent and a leap of 83 spots from last year’s rank of 153
- No. 87 in the Best Value Schools category, in the top 50 percent and a rise of 11 spots from last year
- No. 139 for computer science, a rise of 19 spots
- No. 135 for business, a rise of nine spots
- No. 58 in actual graduation rate versus expected graduation rate — in the top 15 percent
In the category of undergraduate nursing, USF ranked No. 67 out of 654 programs — in the top 10 percent nationwide.
USF remains one of the best colleges for veterans and remains in the top 50 for most international students.
