First, I Dream/Primero Sueño

First, I Dream/Primero Sueno is a mixed media installation inspired by the life and writings of 17th century Mexican intellectual, poet, and nun Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. Artists include: Myriam de la Riva, Laura Elenes, Guillermo Gadda, Rosario Giovaninni and Pedro Osorio (from Mexico City); Jeannette Betancourt (from Puerto Rico); Mia Gonzalez, Mondo Jud Hart, Betsie Miller-Kusz, Thomas Lucas S.J., José Ramón Lerma and Constance Tell (from San Francisco).
Exhibition produced by Mondo Corazón with support from the Consulate General of Mexico and the Mexican Cultural Center, Encantada Gallery, USF College of Arts and Sciences, Modern and Classical Languages Department, Women’s Studies Program, CELASA - the Center for Latino Studies in the Americas and the Thacher Gallery.
