GeoPandas for Data Analysis

This course, led by an industry expert, offers an in-depth exploration of GeoPandas.

What is GeoPandas? GeoPandas is an open source project that makes working with geospatial data in Python easier. With Geopandas, you can analyze, manipulate, and visualize geographic information.

This course is ideal for learners interested in:

• Geospatial domains such as ridesharing, traffic and transportation, package delivery analytics, and ETA estimations
• Epidemiological studies, particularly in relation to infectious diseases like COVID-19

Learning Objectives

• Gain foundational knowledge in pandas, Python, basic plotting, and GIS fundamentals, including earth sciences and Coordinate Reference Systems.
• Master spatial operations using GeoPandas, spatial joins, and geocoding.
