Dr. Christine Yeh Delivers Solutions to Educational Inequity
In the past 10 years, Professor Christine Yeh has led a culturally-responsive curriculum-based program that has helped first-in-family students gain access to college information and resources.
Educational Talent Search
Talent Search increases the number of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school and their post-secondary education. USF launched the Educational Talent Search grant in Fall 2016, to support historically marginalized students by providing academic, career, and financial counseling towards high school completion and the pursuit of post-secondary education. CAP collaborates with institutional and community partners to efficiently serve students and create a safety net of caring adults to help students navigate the educational and social landscapes.
Federal TRIO Programs
Federal TRIO Programs are funded by the US Department of Education. Programs identify, serve, and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.
