Alyssa Kianidehkian is a Bay Area native and proud USF alum, as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with children/adolescents, families, and young adults. Alyssa has 10+ years of experience working with youth and families in a wide range of community-based settings, including school-based, wraparound, outpatient programs, and in residential treatment centers. She has extensive experience providing individual, family, and group therapy in these settings.
In addition to teaching in the Counseling Psychology program at USF, Alyssa currently serves as the Acute Intensive Services Programs Director at Edgewood Center for Children and Families, where she oversees the Residential, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient Programs. She also provides clinical supervision to graduate students in their school-based practicum placements through the Center for Child and Family Development and is passionate about coaching, mentoring, and training the next generation of therapists.
