Associate Professor
Biography
Christine Young is an Associate Professor at University of San Francisco, where she teaches in the Rhetoric and Language, Honors College and Performing Arts departments. Young researches the impact of creativity and wellness as pedagogical strategies in undergraduate classrooms, with a focus on teaching students self-regulation tools and designing assignments and learning spaces to support neurodiverse learners. Young has led numerous trainings on how to effectively integrate creative teaching practices into diverse educational settings. She is committed to supporting the transformation of higher education through holistic teaching and revising the curriculum to foreground historically marginalized voices.
