Biography
D. A. Powell's most recent collections include Low Hanging Fruit (Foundlings Press, 2022) and Atlas T (Rescue Press, 2020). Powell's awards include the National Book Critics Circle Award, Shelley Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America, Kingsley Tufts Prize, two Pushcart Prizes, and the California Book Award. He has taught at Stanford, University of Iowa, and Harvard University. His poetry inhabits the intersections of land, body and popular culture.
