Biography

Dr. Esmat (Yasi) Sangari serves as an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics and Information Systems. Her research focuses on applying operations research, game theory, and optimization algorithms to examine various aspects of supply chain design, planning, and operations management. She also works on pricing and price-matching strategies in omni-channel retail systems. More recently, she has extended her research to the open-source AI ecosystem, studying the adoption and popularity of AI models. The main goal of her research is to provide actionable insights that enhance profitability, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision-making for supply chain stakeholders and technology developers. She received her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University, and her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran.
