Biography
Jenifer K Wofford is a multidisciplinary visual artist who exhibits nationally and internationally. She has presented work at Bay Area venues including SFMOMA, the Asian Art Museum, YBCA, the de Young Museum and the San Jose Museum of Art. She has also shown at Silverlens Galleries (Manila and New York), Frieze (Los Angeles), Asia Society (Houston), and Wing Luke Museum (Seattle).
Wofford was a 2025 Artadia San Francisco Bay Area Awardee, a 2023 YBCA 100 honoree and a 2017 Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors Grantee. In 2020 she was awarded the Asian Art Museum’s first public art commission for their new Lui Hyde Street Art Wall.
A committed and active member of the Bay Area art community, Wofford served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Southern Exposure. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute, and a Master of Fine Arts from UC Berkeley.
