Biography
Lisa Biesemeyer graduated with an MA in Literature in 2001 and immediately began teaching English at various Bay Area community colleges and technical schools. She joined USF Rhetoric and Composition adjunct faculty in 2003, earned an MS in Education in 2005, and was promoted to PHP I in 2006. In 2005, she helped develop Writing in Psychology, a required writing course for Psychology majors, and has been teaching the course consistently since 2006. In addition to teaching Writing in Psychology, Lisa works with USF undergraduate and graduate students as a Writing Center consultant. In her roles at USF and elsewhere, Lisa is passionate about creating nurturing, effective learning environments for all students. Lisa lives in San Jose, California with her husband, Michael, their 3 teen children, and their cat, Tallula.
