Are you 70 1/2 years of age or older? If so, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA is a tax-smart and increasingly popular way of supporting USF. This provision of the tax code allows you to transfer funds directly from your IRA to USF. Up to $100,000 in QCDs each year from your IRA will not count as taxable income in the year you make your gift, which may keep you in a lower tax bracket and save taxes whether you claim the standard deduction or itemize. For donors over age 73, your QCD to USF counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). More information »

You can also make a revocable gift to our organization through most financial instruments, such as retirement plan accounts, bank, and brokerage accounts, or donor-advised funds, with a beneficiary designation. Learn more »
