Biography

Professor of Legal Writing Edith Ho received her bachelor of arts from Smith College and her juris doctor from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, she worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on health care and social service matters in federal court and administrative hearings. After public service, she was in private practice for many years specializing in insurance coverage and civil litigation with several San Francisco law firms. Ho teaches in the Legal Research, Writing and Analysis Program and was the former director of the legal writing program. She currently directs the First-Year Moot Court Program.
