Biography
Sue Bunnell has held various roles in her 30-year career in legal and adjacent areas of expertise. She's been both individual contributor and manager, associate and program lead, specialized business attorney and enterprise advisor, senior counsel and assistant general counsel, board member and Executive Director, as well as a professional development expert and speaker. In each role Sue shows her commitment to kindness, candor and professionalism with her unique #SaltyWisdom.
Sue started in technology transactional and contracts work, where she also oversaw Latin American software antipiracy and legislative reform for the Business Software Alliance trade group. In this role, she was selected to serve as the United States Trade Representative to Paraguay on a 1997 trade mission in support of the US computer software industry.
She moved to a Silicon Valley law firm in the late 90s, where she worked with well-known technology companies to acquire, license and sell their innovative technology solutions. Sue transitioned to in-house to support the search engine company AltaVista, and has been with her latest employer, Wells Fargo, for over 20 years in a wide range of roles.
