Daniel Rascher, a sport management professor at the University of San Francisco, has been recognized for his pioneering work in antitrust litigation that is changing the landscape of college sports.

On November 15, 2024, USF Law, in collaboration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), hosted a daylong event examining the evolution of name, image, and likeness (NIL) laws for student-athletes. USF Law Dean Johanna Kalb welcomed attendees and reflected on the “revolutionary” changes to NCAA policy and the implications for “college athletics, for schools, for the athletes themselves, and for the fans who support them.”
Laura Euphrat ʼ89 co-founded the non-profit, Little Wishes, in 2003 to help brighten the days of children experiencing hospital care. The organization has granted over 30,000 wishes and works with 39 hospitals nationwide.
Paul S. Flores, adjunct professor of performing arts and social justice, has won the 2024 American Book Award for his debut collection of poetry, We Still Be: Poems and Performances.
Fabiola Pardo Garcia ‘25 speaks four languages, serves as forum editor of USF Law Review, is Graduation Chair and Vice President of the Latinx Law Student Association, and as a 2L, tutored Academic Support Program 1Ls.
