Program Overview

Study theories and models of organization development, practice participatory research, and develop skills to contribute to, manage, and lead teams. The MSOD program values self-awareness, self care, reflection, and compassion as building blocks of change.

The USF MSOD curriculum is built on four essential elements that define the field: reflection, diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation.

• The MSOD curriculum is composed of 32 units: 24 units of core coursework and 8 units of electives.
• Classes are scheduled weeknights and occasional Saturdays — a convenient student schedule for working professionals.
• Classes are held at the downtown campus.

There is a minimum of two years of professional work experience required for MSOD admission. This brings a common level of knowledge into your cohort and classroom.
