Congratulations to Barbara Sattler RN, MPH, DrPH, FAAN and her three students, Vinai Decena DNP ‘18, Kelly Booth DNP ‘17, and Alvin Walters DNP ‘18 who have been chosen to participate in the Jonas Scholars program for 2016-2018.

USF was the only school to have three scholars chosen! The goal of the Jonas Nurse Scholar Program is to increase the number of doctorally-prepared faculty available to teach in nursing schools nationwide, and the number of nurse leaders providing direct patient care and filling roles as clinical faculty.
