Daniel is the director of the Bachelors of Science in Data Science program. Daniel's research interests are in large-scale optimization modeling and algorithms. His postdoctoral research in the UCLA Department of Radiation Oncology focused on applications of optimization in radiation therapy, medical imaging, and machine learning.

Cody Carroll is an assistant professor with joint appointments in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Master's in Data Science program (MSDS). Stephen Devlin is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Master’s in Data Science program (MSDS). He has also served as department chair and director of the undergraduate data science program. Daniel Jerison studies probability theory. He is interested in the properties of random objects, such as random planar maps and abelian sand piles, and in the convergence of Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms.

Dr. Shan Wang is the program director and an assistant professor in the MS in Data Science program at the University of San Francisco. Her research interests include nonparametric statistics, biomedical data science, and utilizing data-driven methods to address social and environmental problems.

James is an Associate Professor of Statistics and Co-Director of the BS in Data Science program at the University of San Francisco. He has joint appointments in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the MS in Data Science program, where he has developed and taught courses in Bayesian statistics, machine learning, data science, and network analysis.

Diane Woodbridge is an associate professor in the MS in Data Science program at the University of San Francisco. Her research interests include scalable database management systems, data fusion, and machine learning focusing on remote health monitoring (IoT in Healthcare). Prior to joining USF, Professor Woodbridge was with the scalable analysis and visualization department at Sandia National Laboratories.

Kishore Pusukuri has over 18 years of R&D experience. His PhD thesis work covers developing software systems at the intersection of Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Distributed Systems. Kishore is passionate about teaching BigData, Data Engineering, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Data Science, Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, Data Structures & Algorithms, and C/C++/Python/Java.
