Earn your bachelor’s degree and a preliminary California teaching credential in four years. Or add a master's degree in teaching and earn all three in five years.
Earn Your Credential
If you're interested in teaching multiple subjects on the elementary school level, you can earn a credential by participating in a teacher preparation program through the Undergraduate Teacher Education Center. Education: liberal studies majors are also exempt from taking the Multiple Subject California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSETs).
