Gender & Sexualities Studies, Minor
The Gender & Sexuality Studies minor offers a global, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary approach to gender and sexualities within diverse historical eras, regions, political and legal systems, and racial identities.
Employing theories and concepts used in gender and sexualities studies, you'll be able to explain why gender and sexualities matter as social categories and demonstrate how they intersect with other inequalities and power relations.
Preparing for Graduate Studies
We aim to prepare you not only for informed political action, but for graduate work in areas such as social work, the arts, law, and management, and for jobs that require a background in gender and sexualities studies.
