Neuroscience, BS
Neuroscience, the study of the brain bases of human behavior, has the power to spark your imagination and help you prepare to change lives. Here at USF, we aim to center neurodiversity in all that we do, and to commit ourselves to examining the brain in the context of the whole person.
Why study neuroscience at USF?
I love how easy it is to learn very hard topics in the class. The way in which the professors communicate the information is very profound and easy to follow, making the transition to college work easier. Additionally, I love how flexible everything is. I live a life where plans are always made last minute-- things go wrong last minute, I get sick last minute, etc. My courses offer more than enough resources and help to make both my work life and personal life easier.”

Prepare to Succeed
USF offers you energy, experiences, and opportunities you won't find anywhere else.
What makes USF neuroscience different?
What I like most about my neuroscience classes is the peaceful environment that the classes have. In my neuroscience classes I am not afraid of being judged by my professors or my classmates. I am able to ask questions and really get to know my classmates. When you're alongside people who love to learn as well, it allows you to feel better about what you're learning—and it allows me to look forward to the class everyday.”
