Performance Opportunities & Spaces
USF provides you with a number of performance opportunities sponsored by PASJ and independent student-run groups sponsored by University Life. The performance spaces include Presentation Theater, Studio Theater, and smaller spaces throughout the campus and off campus.
Performance Opportunities
There are many performance opportunities at USF, and many ways for you to express yourself through theater, dance, and music.

Dance
Study with guest choreographers in Dance Ensemble. Join a student club that specializes in folklorico or hip-hop. Perform with others in the community at festivals, schools, and senior centers in Dance Generators.
Music

Rock out and explore various styles in Rock Band. Digitally create and manipulate sounds while performing with the Electrified Sound Collective. Create the soundtrack for USF athletics, campus, and community events in the Dons Marching Band.
Theater

Theater Mainstage Productions features students in high-quality productions directed by faculty and designed by professional guest artists. You can also work on a full-length musical in the student-run group College Players, or join the comedy improv team Awkward Silence. Want to hone your stagehand skills? We have paid positions and opportunities to work backstage on all of our productions.

Studio Theater
As a malleable space with an adjustable grid and seating arrangement, Studio hosts performances, workshops, masterclasses, and serves as a classroom for technical courses.
Presentation Theater
The theater, built in 1935 in the neo-Gothic style, is a hub of arts and culture at USF.
Kathi Gallagher Dance Studio
The studio has a sprung wooden floor, mirrors, a sound system, a grand piano, moveable ballet barres, and video projection capabilities.
Rehearsal Spaces and Practice Rooms
