International & Multicultural Education, MA

Our program is based on the principles of equity, social justice, and human rights. The curriculum addresses the realities of education within and beyond public schooling in the United States and the world.

We appreciate your interest in the International and Multicultural Education, MA program. We currently re-imagining our curricular offerings and are no longer recruiting for this program. However, we are offering the new MA in Human Rights and Educational Justice that provides a national and global framework that influences local movements for educational justice and equity.

The Curriculum

The MA in International and Multicultural Education is rooted in critical social theory and the practice of critical pedagogy.
