Biography
Professor Stam is an Executive Director and Trusts and Estates Strategist in Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management department. Professor Stam provides customized planning strategies to high net worth individuals and families. Professor Stam has been adjunct professor of Multinational Estate Planning for five years.
Professor Stam received his undergraduate degree in English from the University of California, Irvine; his Juris Doctor cum laude from Western State University College of Law, where he was Executive Editor of Western State’s Law Review; his Master of Laws in Taxation with honors from Golden Gate University; and his Master of Science in Financial Planning from the College of Financial Planning. Professor Stam is a frequent public speaker on estate and financial planning techniques and has been featured on numerous occasions on San Diego television news station KUSI Channel 9. Professor Stam is a past Trustee of South Coast Repertory, Orange County’s oldest theater production company, and chaired the Planned Giving Committee for that organization.
