Cathy has a PhD in finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her interests in research have been founded in emerging markets, financial integration and country risk. Her more recent work has taken an interdisciplinary approach, crossing into entrepreneurship and accounting.

Dr. Sharon Goldfarb has dedicated her 35-year medical career to serving vulnerable populations. She began her work as the clinical director of Harlem's first HIV clinic in 1993 and later provided primary care through mobile medical units at needle exchanges, drop-in shelters, and other sites serving marginalized communities.
