Thacher Gallery
Located in the Gleeson Library/Geschke Center, the Mary and Carter Thacher Gallery is a crossroads where creativity, scholarship, and community converge.
Experience
With a focus on art from California, we present exhibitions of emerging artists, Bay Area icons, and major collections that explore aesthetics, stimulate cross-disciplinary dialogue, and reflect the university’s commitment to social justice.
Engage
We offer free exhibitions, lectures, programs, tours, and artmaking workshops. We also host university gatherings, performances, and pop-up exhibitions.
Prepare
The gallery serves as a professional hands-on training laboratory for students interested in museum studies and arts management.
